Jeremy Becker Named Finalist for 2025 Virginia SBDC Veteran of the Year Award

Becker Digital is proud to announce that founder and CEO Jeremy Becker, MBA, has been selected as a finalist for the 2025 Virginia Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Veteran of the Year Award. This prestigious recognition honors veteran entrepreneurs whose leadership, innovation, and service strengthen communities across the Commonwealth.

A retired U.S. Army Officer and Operation Enduring Freedom combat veteran, Becker founded Becker Digital in 2015 with a mission to strengthen public-sector organizations through high-impact training, program management, and strategic evaluation. Based in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, Becker Digital is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) whose military-connected team of veterans, reservists, military spouses, and caregivers supports mission-driven clients, including the Department of Veterans Affairs, Army National Guard, and leading nonprofit organizations.

Beyond Becker Digital’s contract performance and growth, Jeremy has built a legacy of service beyond entrepreneurship. He mentors transitioning service members through multiple veteran-support programs, volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children in foster care, and serves as Vice Chair of the Buena Vista Economic Development Authority, helping advance small business development and long-term regional revitalization.

“I am deeply honored to be recognized as a finalist for the Virginia SBDC Veteran of the Year Award,” said Jeremy Becker, CEO of Becker Digital. “I founded Becker Digital to serve—our clients, our communities, and the veteran families who make up our team. This recognition reflects the hard work and dedication of every person at Becker Digital who brings that mission to life each day. I’m grateful to the Virginia SBDC for supporting veteran entrepreneurs and championing the role veterans play in strengthening Virginia’s economy and communities.”

“Jeremy exemplifies the spirit of Virginia’s veteran entrepreneurs—innovative, mission-focused, community-minded, and committed to service,” said the Virginia SBDC Network in its announcement. “His leadership represents the best of what this award is designed to honor.”
