Graphic Designer (Part-time/Remote)
Becker Digital is currently seeking a talented Graphic Designer to work with us on government projects. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs for a variety of mediums, including digital and print. The position is 1099/Part-Time, remote, and project-based.
Responsibilities:
Create design concepts, graphics, and layouts for various mediums, including newsletters, training materials, social media, presentations, and print materials.
Collaborate with the project team to understand the project objectives, target audience, and branding guidelines.
Work with the project team to ensure that designs meet the project requirements and deadlines.
Use creative and innovative design techniques to create effective designs that engage the target audience and effectively communicate the intended message.
Research and analyze design trends to stay up-to-date with the latest design techniques and tools.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion.
Ensure that designs are optimized for web and print, taking into consideration the target platform and audience.
Review and edit designs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Art, or a related field.
3+ years of professional experience in graphic design.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign.
Familiarity with Section 508 Accessibility design practices.
Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to be organized and meet project deadlines.
Compensation:
Negotiable rates based on experience and qualifications.
Location:
All work can be performed remotely but must be conducted from a U.S. location.
