Federal Human Resources (HR)/ Management Trainer (Hybrid)

Becker Digital is currently hiring a Federal Human Resources (HR)/ Management Trainer (1099 - Part-Time/Hybrid - Travel to Multiple Locations in the US) to lead multi-day (3-4 days) in-person and virtual training sessions for government audiences.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working with federal government agencies in an HR/management capacity and possess subject matter expertise in the following areas:

  • Being a supervisor and coach

  • Labor Relations

  • Ethics

  • Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS)/MyBiz

  • Classification Position Management

  • Recruitment and Placement

  • Pay Administration / Grade & Pay Retention

  • Conduct Management

  • Performance Management

  • Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) & Sexual Assault Prevention & Response Program (SAPR)

  • Incentive Awards

  • Human Resource Development & Training Program

Position responsibilities include:

  • Advising on HR-related topics specific to the federal government sector.

  • Developing HR courses and training materials to meet the unique requirements of government audiences.

  • Leading both virtual and in-person training sessions as needed regarding best practices among government employees.

  • Assessing the effectiveness of HR training programs through feedback mechanisms and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders within federal agencies to understand their evolving HR needs and anticipate future requirements.

  • Contributing to the development of new HR training modules, ensuring alignment with emerging trends and addressing the evolving landscape of federal HR practices.

  • Upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct in all interactions with clients and team members.

Compensation:

1099 Position - Negotiable rates based on experience and qualifications.

Location:

Hybrid - 25% remote/75% on-site travel to multiple locations in the United States

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in human resources, management, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated human resources (HR) experience in the federal sector.

  • Proficiency in delivering HR training courses.

  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

  • Must be located in the United States to satisfy the location requirements of this contract

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A graduate-level degree in human resources, management, or a related field.

  • Experience supporting virtual events in Micorosft TEAMS

  • Demonstrated commitment to supporting the military/veteran community
