Graphic Designer -Part-Time/Remote

Becker Digital is currently seeking a a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support federal and state projects with high-quality visual design for digital, print, and training deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Design visually engaging materials across multiple formats, including training manuals, e-learning modules, presentations, newsletters, infographics, and social media campaigns.

  • Develop layouts, graphics, and visual identities aligned with client branding and federal accessibility standards.

  • Collaborate with project managers, instructional designers, and communications staff to translate concepts into polished visuals that meet mission goals.

  • Adapt creative concepts for both print and digital distribution, ensuring accessibility and usability across platforms.

  • Maintain visual consistency across projects and ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility requirements.

  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality.

  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies relevant to government and education communications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of professional experience in graphic design (experience supporting government, nonprofit, or education clients preferred).

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; familiarity with Premiere Pro or After Effects a plus).

  • Understanding of Section 508 accessibility and universal design principles.

  • Strong conceptual, layout, and typography skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with distributed teams.

  • Excellent communication and client-service orientation.

Compensation:

  • Negotiable rates based on experience and qualifications.

Location:

  • All work can be performed remotely but must be conducted from a U.S. location.
